Bitcoin market cap is around $1.16 trillion, with each Bitcoin worth about $59,000. If Bitcoin were used for staking or in DeFi like Ethereum—let’s say 28.25%—we’re talking about $315 billion. To put that in perspective, the total value locked in all DeFi across other chains is only $84.3 billion. Bitcoin could be a massive player in economic security and the market opportunity for Bitcoin Restaking is definitely enormous.
