# Roadmap

b14g is building the coordination layer for Bitcoin yield, connecting BTC holders, token stakers, and Bitcoin-aligned chains through a unified dual-staking marketplace. Our roadmap is structured around three core phases: **Activate BTC Yield**, **Scale Dual-Staking**, and **Unify the BTCFi Hub.**

***

### **Phase 1 — Activate BTC Yield (Q4 2024–Q4 2025)**

**Goal:** Mobilize Bitcoin capital and prove real BTC yield.\
**Layer:** *Distribution*

#### Key Milestones

* **BTC Self-Custodial Staking (Live):** Launch self-custodial BTC staking, integrate with Core, offering real Bitcoin yield from securing Core chain and Babylon Genesis network.
* **dualCORE Vault (Live):** CORE LST for dual-staking.
* **coBABY Vault (Coming Soon):** BABY LST for co-staking.
* **BTCFi Vault Framework:** Establish standard vault structure for BTCFi yield strategies, accepting various assets like USDC, USDT, WBTC, etc.
* **Merge Marketplace (Live):** an on-chain marketplace where BTC stakers and token stakers match with each other to co-stake, share yield, and increase capital efficiency.

#### Tractions

* BTCFi primitives live on Core & Babylon.
* 2,700+ BTC and 25M+ CORE staked through vaults.
* Early dual-staking adoption metrics and yield benchmarks established.

***

### **Phase 2 — Scale Dual-Staking Across Chains (Q1 2026–Q4 2026)**

**Goal:** Make dual-staking accessible and efficient across all BTCFi ecosystems.\
**Layer:** *Middleware*

#### Key Milestones

* **Dual-Staking SDK:** Allow Bitcoin-aligned chains to integrate b14g’s staking layer instantly.
* **Reward Router Engine:** Enable cross-chain yield aggregation and automatic compounding.
* **dualSTX Vault:** Deploy BTC + STX (Stacks) liquid dual-staking vault.
* **Institutional Dashboard:** Launch vault analytics and custody-compliant interface for institutional BTC.

#### Output Metrics

* b14g becomes the **go-to coordination layer** for Core, Babylon, Stacks and expanding Bitcoin-aligned ecosystems.
* 10,000+ BTC coordinated across multi-chain vaults.
* SDK adoption by 3–5 additional BTCFi chains (Bitlayer, Mezo, Botanix, etc.).

***

### **Phase 3 — Unify the BTCFi Hub (2026–Beyond)**

**Goal:** Establish b14g as the base layer for all Bitcoin yield coordination.\
**Layer:** *Base*

#### Key Milestones

* **Unified BTCFi Layer:** Aggregate user identity, staking history, and yield metrics across chains.
* **$B14G Token Launch:** Introduce governance and cross-chain incentive routing.
* **Cross-Chain Liquidity Pooling:** Enable shared liquidity between BTCFi vaults.
* **Governance DAO:** Launch BTCFi Council to manage protocol evolution and reward distribution.
* **Integration API for DeFi Protocols:** Extend b14g liquidity to external yield aggregators, lenders, and market makers.

#### Output Metrics

* Bitcoin yield becomes chain-agnostic, transparent, and composable.
* b14g recognized as the **neutral BTCFi coordination layer** powering the Bitcoin economy.
* $B14G captures value from network fees, yield routing, and governance participation.

### **Strategic Vision**

<table><thead><tr><th width="99">Phase</th><th>Core Focus</th><th width="182">Layer</th><th>Outcome</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>1</strong></td><td>Activate BTC Yield</td><td>Distribution</td><td>Prove real BTCFi yield through vaults</td></tr><tr><td><strong>2</strong></td><td>Scale Dual-Staking</td><td>Middleware</td><td>Standardize BTCFi participation across chains</td></tr><tr><td><strong>3</strong></td><td>Unify BTCFi Hub</td><td>Base Layer</td><td>Coordinate Bitcoin liquidity and yield globally</td></tr></tbody></table>

b14g’s roadmap transforms Bitcoin from a static store of value into the foundational yield layer for the multi-chain economy — **a liquidity hub where Bitcoin earns, secures, and grows.**
